Company 46 Apparatus

The Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company utilizes ten apparatus to serve the emergency needs of Moorefield and the surrounding areas. To protect these areas, a wide variety of specialized firefighting and life safety apparatus is required.

Currently, we are in the process of replacing two of our trucks. First, our 1999 first out “attack” unit with a slightly larger, more equipped truck. This apparatus was ordered in 2023 and is expected at any time. A cost of over $350,000. Additionally, we are replacing our 1986 engine with a new, state of the art 107ft aerial ladder truck. This unit will be capable of performing a pumper truck ability and reaching the upper floors of homes and buildings that we currently cannot, saving victims at new heights and keeping our important staff off of damaged roofs while ventilating fires or controlling chimney fires. A cost of over $1,600,000. Want to help? Make a donation today. Click Here.
